The numbers, worldwide, see the growth of Caddy, E Crafter stable ID. Buzz. for 2025 Focus on the new T-Series

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles remains a safe bet for the German Group, with its global market share remaining at the previous year’s level. In practice, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles delivered a total of 408,300 vehicles, with the Caddy, Multivan and Crafter all recording significant growth.

Looking ahead to 2025, last year also saw the introduction of a number of models that could be launched this year. We are talking about the completion of the medium van range with the arrival of the Transporter 7, which joins the Multivan and the ID. Buzz. The ID. Buzz long wheelbase version launched in 2024 and in 2025 the market will be extended to a further six countries including Australia and Japan.

In short, total deliveries reflect the consolidation of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ leading position in the van sector, with an increasing focus on electrification and expansion in markets around the world. Here are the figures:

Volkswagen ID. Buzz GTX 2024

Updates to the ID. Buzz model, with the GTX version, the long wheelbase and, for example, the four-wheel drive version of the ID. Buzz Cargo, showed the first signs of success in 2024. Orders increased by more than 70 per cent compared to 2023, demonstrating a positive market response to the extended range and competitively priced variants. In 2025, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles will continue its internationalisation with the introduction of the ID. Buzz in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Israel, Indonesia and Japan.

Volkswagen Transporter T7 2025

At the same time, production of the Transporter 6.1 ended in mid-2024.

“All customer orders were produced on time. It was a great team effort for which I would like to thank all employees,”

said Lars Krause, Member of the Board of Management of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles responsible for Sales, Marketing and Aftersales.

“I am also particularly pleased with the 44 per cent growth achieved by our Multivan in 2024. At the end of the year, we delivered the first new California and Transporter models to customers, thus completing the introduction of the new generation in the Bulli segment.”

Volkswagen Caddy eHybrid (2024)

After an increase of 13 per cent in 2023, the Caddy recorded significant growth in 2024 as well, with an increase of 17.2 per cent, surpassing the 100,000-vehicle mark. In total, 107,200 customers bought their Caddy, making it the second strongest model in the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles range. In 2025, the Caddy will also enter the electric era with deliveries of the hybrid version, equipped with an electric range of up to 75 miles.

Volkswagen Multivan Plug-in Hybrid 4Motion

Thanks to the new models introduced in 2024, therefore, the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle range is now completely renewed. For 2025, the Hanover-based brand has the broadest and most renewed range in its history. With the new Transporter, the ID. Buzz trio, and Multivan, the Transporter is now complete.
