Super high-tech, it has a 517-litre boot and very sporty, wraparound seats. This is what it looks like inside
The Xiaomi SU7 is the car that marks the Chinese technology giant’s debut in the automotive sector, marking an important step towards the integration of the worlds of consumer electronics and electric mobility.
Officially unveiled in 2024, this almost 5-metre electric saloon aims to compete with prestigious brands such as Porsche and Tesla, thanks to its refined design and cutting-edge technology. Today we take a detailed look at the interior.
Starting as always with the dashboard, the interior of the Xiaomi SU7 is a concentration of innovative technologies and was designed with the aim of offering an immersive and connected driving experience.
The undisputed star of the dashboard is the large 16.1-inch 3K resolution infotainment system screen, which acts as a control centre for the entire car and is based on the company’s new Xiaomi HyperOS smartphone operating system.
To its left is a horizontal digital instrument cluster designed to provide essential information to the driver, combined with a large 56-inch panoramic head-up display (HUD) that projects essential driving data directly onto the windscreen.
Finally, in front of the driver is a new multifunction steering wheel with a sporty design and flat bottom, designed to integrate touch controls and two circular controllers.
Speaking of quality, more generally speaking the interior of the SU7 is made of good materials. Both front and rear, for example, are sporty shell seats with integrated headrests and pronounced side bolsters.
To go into more detail, everything has been designed to offer comfort and stability while driving, even at high speeds and when cornering, and combined with beautifully crafted upholstery that can also be found on the central tunnel, again the result of the approximately EUR 10 billion over ten years invested in developing this new business.

Speaking of roominess, on the other hand, the salient feature of the Xiaomi SU7’s cabin is undoubtedly the centre console positioned rather high up, which, combined with the very low dashboard and wraparound doors, creates a cosy but also very sporty environment for the driver and front passenger.
In general, the interior spaces are rather generous, with the seats positioned rather low and combined with a huge panoramic glass roof designed to amplify brightness and the feeling of space.

Finally, according to the first data released by the Chinese manufacturer, the rear boot has a maximum capacity of 517 litres, a number that increases if we also consider the 105 litres present under the front bonnet for the frunk.
